Listening Level II Program
This program is for beginer to intermediate students. Weekly outline of this program is as follow
Monday level II students listen to selected audio news from BBC, CBC and CNN. Audio news
exposes students to clear pronunciation, local idioms, news vocabulary and standard speaking
speed. Students answer true or false questions, short answers and fill in the blanks to test
their comprehension of the story.
Tuesday level II students listen to selected audio material for TOEIC test preparation.
This class is designed to give students the opportunity to improve their listening skills
for the TOEIC exam. Multiple choice questions and fill in the blanks are used to test
students and provide a unique study guide.
Wednesday level II students listen to selected audio dialogues and stories. These
dialogues are a great tool for students who want to increase their comprehension of the
spoken story. Students are encouraged to talk about what they heard and are asked questions
relating to vocabulary and pronunciation. Students answer true or false questions, fill in
the blanks and short answers as an exercise to test their understanding of the story.
Thursday level II students listen to selected audio news from BBC, CBC and CNN. Audio

Friday level II students listen to a varied selection of audio dialogues based on the
week's material. This class is intended as a test day for students to review the week's
selections. They are encouraged to study the night before and are asked to define
vocabulary, answer comprehension questions and fill in the blanks.
