Conveniently located in the centre of downtown Vancouver, ULC offers a warm, comfortable, and intimate environment in which to expand your knowledge of the English language. In our spacious yet private classrooms, students can get focused, one-on-one instruction from our many enthusiastic and highly-experienced university-graduate tutors.

Since opening our doors in 2003, we have been regarded as the number one conversation and speaking school in Vancouver. Our students have gained stronger confidence when communicating in English, and have also achieved better scores in English proficiency tests such as TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS.

English Language Programs

Our classes are based on an elective system where students can choose classes appropriate to their level and interests. We offer classes in all skill areas, providing further opportunity for students to customize their own learning. ULC offers individual classes (90 minutes per class), as well as Full-Time and Part-Time programs. The programs can be taken for as little as 4 weeks and for as long as a year.
